Donating old eyewear can do good

By teaming up with the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation—and employers, brokers and partners like you—we’re working together to help eliminate uncorrected poor vision in a generation.

As a Top-Tier Sponsor, EyeMed partners with OneSight to power the Donate for Good program, which allows employees to donate glasses that will be given to someone in need here or abroad. For every pair employees collect, EyeMed donates $5 to OneSight—in your company’s name. Through OneSight’s partnership with the Lions Club, glasses are repaired, cleaned and prepped for distribution throughout the world.  

Old glasses can do wonders

A single pair of donated glasses may not feel like much, but to the 1.1 billion people worldwide—1 in 7 people—with vision loss and lack of access to vision care, your glasses can make all the difference. They’ll help people move about their day with confidence, see their loved ones clearly, do their best in school, keep a job and so much more.

How to get your employees involved
