Emergency preparedness in the face of disaster
When disaster strikes, EyeMed steps up to support our members and non-members alike. Our EyeMed Cares disaster relief replacement program is designed to help members recover and rebuild from natural disasters, including but not limited to the following:
- Wildfires
- Tornadoes
- Hurricanes
- Tsunamis
- Volcanoes
- Earthquakes
- Flooding
Members experiencing loss due to a natural disaster1 can enroll in the EyeMed Cares disaster relief replacement program by calling our dedicated toll-free line where a trained representative will guide them through next steps.
Members enrolled in EyeMed Cares can receive:
- a $0 eye exam
- $0 lenses2
- up to $150 toward the new cost of a frame

Helping those in need of vision care see life to the fullest
Employees in affected areas who are not EyeMed members and are in need of financial assistance to obtain eyewear can contact the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation for local support. OneSight is a vision nonprofit dedicated to eliminating uncorrected poor vision in a generation for the 2.7 billion people globally who lack access to the vision care they need.5
